Present.

~ The God who draws near (James 4:8)

~ The God who sticks closer than a brother ( Prov. 18:24)

~ The God  who is always with us, wherever we go (Psalm 139:7-10)

~ The God who will never leaves us (John 14:16)

~ The God who dwells within us (Eph. 2:22)

The One — the only One — who is always there — who is always near –who always knows.

The One who was, is, and forever will be …

Present.

In his Presence is fullness of joy (Psalm 16:11)

And he is always present.

He is Jehovah Shammah.

Lord thank you for being the God who is here; the God who is near; the God who was, is, and always will be so very present. Whether I am aware of your Presence or not–now and for all of eternity–you are here. You are with me.  Christ in me–the hope of glory.
